COMPETITIVE SWIM TEAM GROUPS

 

BRONZE (Level 1)
 
Competitive program for swimmers who can complete 1 lap unassisted across the pool. Swimmers should have a basic knowledge if Freestyle/Backstroke.
Location: UCSD (La Jolla) and Coronado
Age Range: 6-10
Practices offered: 5 days a week (Mon-Fri)
Practice Length: 1 hour
 
 
SILVER (Level 2)
 
Competitive program for swimmers who can complete several laps across the pool on short rest. Swimmers will refine Freestyle & Backstroke while learning Breaststroke & Butterfly.
Location: UCSD (La Jolla) and Coronado
Age Range: 9-12
Practices offered: 5 days a week (Mon-Fri)
Practice Length: 1.25 hours
 
 
GOLD (Level 3)
 
Competitive program for swimmers who will begin to adapt to more advanced training concepts and strengthen fundamental technique habits in all four strokes.
Location: UCSD (La Jolla) and Coronado
Age Range: 11-14
Practices offered: 6 days a week (Mon-Sat)
Practice Length: 1.5 hours
 
 
PLATINUM (The highest 14&U level)
 
Competitive program for swimmers who will attend a rigorous training program while striving to qualify for state and regional championship-level meets.
Dryland program included.
Location: UCSD (La Jolla) and Coronado
Age Range: 12-15
Practices offered: 6 days a week (Mon-Sat)
Practice Length: 1.5 - 2 hours
 
 
SENIOR (The penultimate level)
 
Competitive program for athletes who will attend a rigorous training program while striving to qualify for state and regional championship level meets.
Dryland Program included.
Location: UCSD (La Jolla) and Coronado (Saturday practice)
Age Range: 13 - 18
Practices offered: 6 days a week (Mon-Sat)
Practice Length: 1.5 - 2.5 hours
 
 
SENIOR ELITE (High Performance Level)
 
Reserved for highly driven athletes committed to excellence in attendance and performance in pursuit of national and international-level competition.
Dryland program included.
Location: UCSD (La Jolla) and Coronado (Saturday practice)
Age Range: 14 - 25
Practices offered: 6 days a week (Mon-Sat)
Practice Length: 1.5 - 2.5 hours
